SDGBRT Board

Southern Downs and Granite Belt Regional Tourism is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of Regional Council and Industry representatives from across the region.

Council representatives are appointed to the Board by Southern Downs Regional Council every four years, where as Industry Representatives are elected to the Board by vote of members and hold their position for two years.  SDGBRT also has two Board Observer positions held by representatives from Granite Belt Wine and Tourism and Warwick Tourism and Events.

The SDGBRT Board for 2011/12 is:

• Secretary: Apolonia Behan  (Industry Representative – Girraween Country Inn)
• Director: Fran Edney  (Industry Representative – Metro Hotel Ipswich International)
• Director: Mr. John Neville (Industry Representative - Queensland College of Wine Tourism)

• Director: Cr Neil Meiklejohn (Southern Downs Regional Council)
• Director: Cr Mally McMurtrie (Southern Downs Regional Council)
• Board Observer: Ms Anissa Williams (Granite Belt Wine & Tourism)
