Mallow Cottage opened in April 2011 as self contained accommodation on the Granite Belt in South East Queensland. It is located on a certified organic farm, just 19 kilometres from Stanthorpe. The cottage has been recently renovated using, where possible, sustainable or salvaged materials and furnishings. It is warm, welcoming, tastefully decorated and in keeping with their philosophy of creating a 'lighter footprint' on the environment.Mallow Cottage is an ideal venue to practice yoga or meditation. A wellbeing program is offered during your stay, and focuses on learning relaxation techniques to better manage stress.Mallow has many features for you to enjoy during your stay. The dam on Mallow is a short walk from the cottage and has a canoe.Within a 20 minute drive of Mallow Cottage are quality wineries, restaurants, cafes' and food producers - cheese, olives, berries, fruit, and more. The operators are also food producers - of certified organic lamb. You can try their tasty tender lamb in their organic hamper breakfast or order a bulk pack of lamb to take home. They supply several local restaurants and outlets and are finalists in the Delicious Magazine Produce of the Year for 2011.
