Southern Downs & Granite Belt Produce Calendar

While growing conditions on the Granite Belt vary from year to year, as a general rule the harvesting season for the following commercially grown produce are as follows:

There is more...while not yet produced on a commercial scale, the Granite Belt is a proven growing area for almonds, carrots, chestnuts and prickly pears.  Keen foodies will find wild asparagus, wild fennel and the foundations have been laid for the production of saffron and truffles.
