One of the great novelties of the Brass Monkey Season© for those who inhabit the warmer reaches of South East Queensland, is the opportunity to get properly rugged up! Whether heading to Jumpers & Jazz in July, or hitting the National Parks, that stash of warm weather gear at the back of the wardrobe will finally have a chance to shine. Pull out your coats, scarves, gloves, hats and boots and head for the hills this winter. Wear your cold weather finery to some of the elaborately staged events, and your more casual woolies for bushwalking and fireside tipples.
