PLENTY ON OFFER ACROSS REGION FOR SCHOOL HOLIDAYSAre you looking for something to keep the children occupied during the school holidays? Well, the Warwick Information Centre has joined forces with Stanthorpe and Tentefield to offer families a School Holiday Planner. As an incentive, a HOLIDAY GAME PLAN has been developed featuring various local attractions and activities, with questions specific to each attraction. The Holiday Game Plan requires participants to visit at least one attraction featured in the booklet. Participants then need to answer some general knowledge questions on each attraction. the more attractions visited the more chances you have to win! The major prize for the Christmas School Holiday Game Plan is an Xbox console which has been donated by Harvey Norman Warwick, and there are also five other prizes including family passes to Bestbrook, Southern Downs Steam Rail, Granite Belt Maze, Stanthorpe Museum and the Tenterfield Kraze Maze, all being drawn on 27 January. There will also be a family pass to Underwater World on the Sunshine Coast up for grabs for those who have visited over five attractions/events and answered all questions correctly. The Game Plan offers a great range of options to keep children amused, from experiencing the natural formed waterslide at Girraween National Park and learning how to skate board with 'Skateboarding Australia' to art workshops, horse riding and picking your own apples. The Holiday Game Plan booklet is available for download from below or pop into one of the information centres at Warwick, Stanthorpe or Tenterfield.
