Collectables, Treasures & Trinkets

If you are a lover of fine art, antiques, or trash 'n' treasure, discover new delights with each visit to the Southern Downs & Granite Belt.

The Southern Downs' natural beauty inspires the local arts community, with the Arts playing a signficant role in the region. The regional art galleries host touring exhibitions as well as local artists, and a number of the wineries and restaurants in the region display and sell local art and crafts.

Meander through weekly markets that offer opportunities to peruse and purchase the work of local artisans: hand tooled leather and wood, crafts, knick-knacks, ceramics, paintings and other traditional fine arts.

The region is also home to a number of antique and collectables stores, so you may just find that hidden treasure you've been looking for.

Events and festivals are often inspired by the local arts community and on the Granite Belt in particular, the Italian community and culture permeates through.
